Feb. 6, 2019 (Update)

Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that on Thursday, January 31, 2019, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office was notified that Rachael Killingsworth had been arrested in Union Parish as a fugitive regarding the TPSO Armed Robbery arrest warrant. This robbery occurred on Nov. 4, 2017.

On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, TPSO transportation officers traveled to the Union Parish Detention Center where they picked up Rachel Killingsworth, age 25, 132 Francis Lane Patterson, La. She was transported back to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Center and arrested for Armed Robbery. Killingsworth remains in Jail on a $250,000.00 bond.

 

Jan. 18, 2018 (Update)

 Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that TPSO detectives arrested a second suspect in connection with an armed that was reported on Nov. 4, 2017. Jalen Deontre Allen, b/m age 25, 1325 Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested in St. Mary Parish on a TPSO arrest warrant.

On Jan. 16, 2018, Allen was picked up from the St. Mary Parish Jail and transported back to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where he remains on a $250,000.00 bond. Rachel Marie Killingsworth, w/f, birth date 7/6/1993, 102 Dotties Ln. Franklin, La. is also wanted in connection with this investigation. TPSO detectives has an arrest warrant for Killingsworth for armed robbery. Dec. 5, 2017

Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that on Nov. 4, 2017, Saturday evening, Terrebonne Parish deputies and detectives responded to an armed robbery of a person that occurred in the 100 block of Squirrel Ct. Houma on the previous night.   

Upon arrival at this location contact was made with the victim who is a Hispanic male who did not speak very good English. The victim needed a translator in order to communicate the information to the deputy. During the investigation it was determined that the victim was trying to purchase an IPhone 6 from the suspect through text messages on Facebook Classified. The victim agreed to meet the suspect in the 100 block of Squirrel Ct. in order to purchase the IPhone 6 for $160.00 cash. The suspect(s) arrived at this location and the victim was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect(s) pointed a handgun at the victim and stole $165.00 cash.

After further investigation one of the suspects was identified as Joshua Jermaine Engleton, b/m, birthdate 11/20/94 of 1325 Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. TPSO detectives obtained an armed robbery arrest warrant for the arrest of Engleton.

On Dec. 2, 2017, Saturday, Engleton was arrested on the TPSO arrest warrant by the Morgan City Police Department. Engleton remained in the Morgan City Jail until Dec. 4, 2017, Monday, when he was picked up by TPSO deputies and transported back to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Center where he remains on a $250,000.00 bond.
