Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced the arrest of Zack Thibodaux (W/M, 27), of Thibodaux, LA for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (2nd Offense).

On Sunday, March 17th, 2018, shortly before 3:00 a.m., a Thibodaux Police Officer working an off-duty detail in the 300 block of North Canal Boulevard was notified of a driver sleeping in the drive-thru line. Upon investigating the complaint, the officer observed that a gray 2004 Toyota Tundra had crashed into the intercom box, causing it to be displaced. The driver identified as Zack Thibodaux, was removed from the vehicle and the officer immediately suspected Mr. Thibodaux to be intoxicated. After failing a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Mr. Thibodaux was placed under arrest. Mr. Thibodaux later provided a breath sample, which rendered the results of 0.185% Blood Alcohol Content. This is the second time Mr. Thibodaux has been arrested for D.W.I. since 2014.

Mr. Thibodaux was transported to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex, where he later posted a $2,500.00 bond.
