Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy, Col. Terry Daigre, said a female arrested for narcotics charges was found to have more narcotics when she was stripped searched at the jail.

On Monday night 3-25-19, a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office K-9 Deputy and a Uniform Patrol Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 5600 block of La. Hwy 56. The traffic stop was in reference to an equipment violation. Due to things observed during this traffic stop all three occupants were removed from the vehicle, and the vehicle was searched.

During the search a K-9 Deputy located a folded piece of aluminum foil containing a small amount of suspected heroin, one suspected Ecstasy pill and some narcotic paraphernalia. These items were located in the purse of the rear passenger’s seat. This suspect had given a false identity to the deputies, but was later positively identified as Magen Dardar (a 28-year-old white female) of 1660 La. Hwy. 665 Montegut, La.

  Magen Dardar was arrested in reference to the contraband located in her purse. She was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of MDMA, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information. She was transported to Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex to be booked and jailed.

During the booking process, Dardar was strip searched. This search revealed that Dardar was concealing more contraband inside of her undergarments. She was found to be in possession of multiple packages of suspected Heroin, a small amount of suspected Marijuana, and almost an ounce of suspected Crystal Meth. These items were found to be affixed to a sanitary napkin that Dardar was wearing.

Dardar was additionally arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Crystal Meth, Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Obstruction of Justice, and Entering Contraband into a Penal Institution, Dardar’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
