Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, Chief Criminal Deputy, Col. Terry Daigre, said that a narcotics related arrest resulted from Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office assisting with crowd control. At approx. 2:00 am on Sunday 4-21-19 Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call for assistance from Ballers Grill and Chill on Monarch Dr. The caller requested assistance with clearing the crowd of people who were loitering in the surrounding parking lots.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrived to assist the Uniform Patrol Division with the Crowd Control. While assisting, Narcotics Agents, came in contact with Jovon Robertson (a 38-year-old black male). Robertson was seated in a parked vehicle and appeared to be preparing to roll a “blunt” (Marijuana Cigar).

            While conducting a pat search of Robertson Narcotics Agents determined that Robertson had a large bulge in his buttocks area. This was found to be a large bag which contained multiple smaller bags of illegal narcotics. Robertson was found to be in possession of

 

            2 bags of Marijuana weighing 8.97 grams (street value $53.82)

            2 bags of Crack Cocaine weighing 3.39 grams (street value $678.00)

            1 bag of suspected Cocaine weighing 7.36 grams (street value $1,472.00)

            1 bag containing 15 doses of MDMA (street value $375)

 

            Robertson was also in possession of $240.00 in U.S. Currency. Robertson was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession with Intent To Distribute Cocaine, Possession With Intent To Distribute MDMA, Possession with Intent To Distribute Marijuana, and Transactions Involving Drug Proceeds. He was jailed at Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex, and his bond was set at $100,000.00
